STÜSSY AND DIOR LINK UP AGAIN, FOR A CHINESE NEW YEAR COLLAB THIS TIME

Creative director of Dior Kim Jones is known for his passionate love of sneakers and streetwear. Hence why he has done collaborations with multiple artists and brands dear to his heart in his run as a creative director for the French heavy-weight fashion house Dior, this time teaming up with old friend Stüssy.

A 'LOW-KEY' SNEAKPEEK

Stüssy has proven to be back on their A-game last year, and this year doesn’t seem to be any different. After releasing numerous notable collaborations-, including two Nike collabs, where they worked on the new Zoom Spiridon and the staple pair Air Force 1’s, and of course their earlier collaboration on the pre-fall 2020 collection of Dior, they are back with yet another collab.

How do we know? Designer of Dior footwear and instagram fashion influencer Thibo, teased us with a quick looksy on the sneaker that will be dropping together with the whole ‘Chinese New Year’ collection. And fellow source of fashion insiders (highsnobiety) stated on Instagram that this sneaker is going to be released within that exact collection.

The sneaker itself is a variation on the Dior B27 silhouette. Featuring the Stüssy version of the name sake logo in red on the back of the heel, accompanied with the ‘Oh so’ recognizable Dior oblique pattern on both the inside and outside of the foot. Making use of the ‘CD’ for ‘Christian Dior’ as the upper lace holes.
